Notes and Ideas for evaluation question 1

As you can see, the clip starts of with jump cuts showing different locations. The cuts are very fast which matches the beat of the song. The rest of the video shows our main artist Jaleesa singing the song  which shows the use of conjuncture. 

Production: ROUGH CUT

This is the rough cut, it isn't as polished up as we'd like it to be. This is because we are lacking a bit of footage to add into the chorus, we had to re-film all of the scenes due to the change of the artist's hairstyle.  We plan to go out tomorrow to meet at 9am, to collect the equipment from college to go and film in camden. We will then come back to college and add it into the edited music video.

PRODUCTION: Reflection on Filming

So far I believe our filming is getting along very well and ever since we have changed things and started all over again our music video has much more movement and different types of shots involved such as low angles and high angles shots. We are currently getting along with our rough cut and should be done soon, however we are filming our last ever (Fingers crossed) scene tomorrow which hopefully the weather should be okay and not to rainy and this is our last chance to get it done before we edit properly for our final video.

STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN/ NEW SYNERGY

Last week our group looked through our clips that we had from when we went filming in the half term. We decided that the clips were not up to standard and that some of the shots we had were poor and could not be used as we had some clips where we couldn't even see myself (the artist's) face and some shots were out of focus and not enough movement. With that being said we decided that we would start again as we are determing to do well and have a successful video. As the artist in the music video originally my hair was short and straight but as my hair has changed since the first set of filming we have had to delete ALL clips of when my hair was short as I now have very long braids like this:
 As my hair is so unique and stands out, we decided to make this our new synergy.

Update of filming

Hey guys, just a quick update just to let you all know how our filming is going on..well everythings going all good atm!! Today we were filming in Brick Lane which was quite successful despite having to deal with a group of boys wanting to be in our video :/.

As always, we stuck to our scheduled plan and we were all very organised and we had a well deserved lunch break at Mcdonalds!!!

We're all excited to have our video completed as we enjoy filming it.  

Costume changes

We have got our lead singer to have a few costume changes during the making of the music video.

We wanted to keep the costume consistent, hence why Jaleesa is wearing her jacket all the way through the video. We thought the idea of having our artist wearing the same thing through out the video will make it look more realistic as the viewer/audience will think the process of filming was done all in one day.
