Research: Previous students advertisements

This advertisement is good because i think the colour scheme is consistent to the digipak and it looks like it all belongs to the same person. I also think that this is good because the font is very simple and bold, so it catches your eye, but it isn't distracting from the actual image on the advertisement. Another strengh of this advert is that it has the 'HMV' logo and states that it is digitally available on iTunes, this is a good thing to include because it allows fans to find out things that they may not have been able to find anywhere else.

This advertisement is also very successful, this is because the colours also go with the scheme on the digipak. The font is also very consistent. Another strength of this advertisement is that it has the barcode to scan on a smartphone, it also states its availability in hmv,iTunes and on amazon. This is a really good way of advertising a new artist because it gets their name out. However, the advert is lacking tour dates. Although the advert doesnt contain tour dates, it is still a really good advert overall.

This advert is also very successful because it has the same colour schemes as the digipack and it has the same font and images. Another strength of this advertisement is that it contains the album on it, this is good because it allows you to identify who the artist is and recognise them. Although this is a very good digipack, a weakness of this advertisement is that, on the screenshot of the album cover, it has the spine on it, and that is a setback to the overall appearance of the advertisement.
